Melted crayon technique, hand drawn with india ink, gel pen, and mixed media ATC. I like to do free drawings... this image appeared with the swirls created by the melted crayon. The proportions may not be perfect, but I like the freedom of it.

It's getting a little hectic, trying to keep up with Project 365. Both cards are melted crayon backgrounds.

Day 2 of 365 Project

I'm learning a new technique called paper paintings. First I started painting different types of paper with different shades of color.
It's a little difficult to tear small pieces of paper, glue them on a sketch and create a painting. I had to do some touch ups with paints. This my first try, I may get better with practice.
The background is from my technique melted crayon.

2011 Project 365 at ATCsforAll

Today is a new beginning, I'm participating in 2011 Project 365; which means that I will be creating one piece of art everyday! I'm starting with my favorite subject Frida Kahlo.
